DESIGNER

Marc Sadler

Masiero’s designs are the result of reciprocal listening, in a dialogue between a company ready to explore new areas and a designer who asks for nothing more than a dynamic partner with whom to explore new design territories. This is how ideas take shape to become innovative products firmly rooted in tradition

French national and born in Austria, Marc Sadler has lived and worked as a designer in France, the United States, Asia and Italy.

One of the first graduates in “esthétique industrielle” at ENSAD in Paris, he is a pioneer in experimentation with materials and contamination between technologies and these have become distinctive aspects of his work.

At the beginning of the 1970s, he developed the first ski boot in entirely recyclable thermoplastic material, later industrialised by the Italian company Caber.

Today, thanks to his eclecticism, he is a consultant to companies in the most diverse industrial sectors.

A four-time winner of the Compasso d’Oro award (1994, 2001, 2008 and 2014) and one Honourable Mention (1998) and two Selections (1994 and 2008) from the ADI Industrial Design Association, his work has been recognised with many other international prizes over the years.
